Flying winger James Mackinnon is one of several of his family to play for Burley; cousins Jack and Rob Hill (also brothers) both play in the backs, and brother Charlie was awesome last season in the back row before sadly departing for pastures new. Blessed with great pace, an intelligent kicking game and a winger's eye for the line, James is not someone you want to offer the outside to, as you risk looking quite foolish. Should definately be in contention for the 1st XV 11 and 14 shirts this season.
