Richie is Burley's first choice Number Eight, a position he occupies for his power, pace and strength in the tackle and at the breakdown. Scorer of many tries last season, including a hat trick at Moortown, the powerful Geordie is a nightmare for defences with the ball in hand and is rock solid in defence. A fully fit Richie will be a tremendous boost to Burley's chances this season; except most Yorkshire 4 opponents to come off worse against him.
