Burley vs. Wibsey 13/01/07
In a game of two halves Burley playing down the slope found themselves leading a bamboozled Wibsey by 31 points to nil. Tries were scored by Full Back Martin Zielinski, Flanker Dan Johnson, Winger Karl Hayward, Fly Half Rich Parrish, and Centre Andrew Bissett with Parrish converting 3. In complete contrast the second period found Burley in relaxation mode allowing a spirited Wibsey to score two tries and a conversion without reply to give a final score of 31-12. Coach Paul Bisset while satisfied with another League victory was not impressed with the second half display. "I'm satisfied with the League victory but not impressed with the second half display" he was heard to comment.
